  A mainstay of my childhood, this place has superlative deep fried panzerotti, and excellent Italian desserts. I usually only have room for gelato after a meal, but I've been told the cannoli are great too.

  Valentino's is one of my favourite places in Hamilton! It is never empty, so you know it must be good! Both locations are fabulous, but my family and I frequent the Paramount location more often.
  
  The atmosphere goes perfectly with a glass of wine, Val's Ale craft beer or the seasonally-brewed Bohemian Ale (westdale location). The servers are attentive, helpful and always ready with a recommendation.
  
  You'll start off trying (and failing) to keep your hands out of the basket of homemade focaccia bread. Then you have to decide on your main; Will it be Linguine frutti di mare? the nicest gnocchi? some dreamy manicotti? probably the best panzerroti in the city? I have the hardest time deciding on my main but dessert is never a struggle. Leave room for at least one Sicilian cannoli. Valentino's makes a variety of traditional pastries and desserts in house, but it is impossible to say no to this cannoli (trust me, I've tried).
  
  But wait, there's more! Catering and Takeout too! They've got some tried-and-true specials on the takeout menu and their catering options always keep the party happy (even your mother in law will be impressed!)
  
  I've been a customer since before I moved to Hamilton 5 years ago, and I will continue to be one for many more years.

  The food was mediocre. The tomato sauce tasted fresh out of a Chef Boyardee can and the pasta seemed almost cooked from frozen. The only saving grace was the exceptional cannoli.

  Authentic Italian! We bought the sauce and it makes everything taste good! Great own craft beers on tap. The Pizza is the best in town!
