  I'm a veggie burger connoisseur- hands down State & Main serves up by far the best veggie burger I've ever had. I asked for classic toppings as opposed to what came with the veggie burger (pickle, tomato, lettuce, cheddar as opposed to hummus, guacamole, aoli of some sort). My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place last week and we were so glad we did. After dinner, we were talking about how satisfied we were for three hours!! Can't wait to return. Lovely, open, bright atmosphere, friendly accommodating staff, and very comfortable bar. 10/10 hope the Etobicoke location is just as good!!

  Very pricey when compared to others restaurants in the area. Food was good to excellent, but still overpriced considering a wait of over a half hour for a simple lunch. Was okay when we first arrived right at noon, but half an hour later as more customers arrived could hardly talk because of the noise. Walls are ceramic and the sounds just bounce all over the place. The overall value for the $$$ just wasn't there. Would have rated it a one star if the food hadn't been so good.

  Always great food and very friendly staff. One of the not so tall waitresses is kinda annoying walking around like it's a modeling stage. Gets you dizzy.-but other than that great place for a special occasion. With family or one on one.

  Went for dinner with the neighbours. It was our first visit except for my wife, who was there for dinner a few weeks prior. We started with calamari and sweet potato fries. Very generous portions. It was a nice surprise to find some red peppers and jalapenos tossed in with the calamari. My wife got the PACIFIC RIM NOODLE BOWL and I ordered the BUFFALO WINGS and GRILLED CHICKEN CLUB. The soup was very good and the portion was huge: more than half came home. The wings were tasty but could have used more sauce. I didn't even get to my chicken club since the appetizer portions were so generous.
  
  The meal with a beer and wine came to $72 for two. Acceptable considering the portion size. Service was good and attentive. Wait time was not an issue as others have reported. The dining room about 75% full on a Wednesday evening, which suggests that people do like the place.
  
  Overall it was a good experience, we'd happily come back.
