  Very disappointing for a new Fortino's location; I understand they are a mall store and as such are probably one of the busiest locations with the Fortino's name but they are often completely out of "standard" items. I don't know how many times I have been in there and they where out of carrots, ground beef, or canned items. And their meal replacement "Fresco" stations need to be better stocked as well. I have had to walk away empty handed when just planning to pick up a tray of sushi or a chicken for dinner and go somewhere else. There should be no reason for someone to walk in at 3pm to an empty grab and go counter with no one working to prep more food especially since it's just after lunch rush and just before dinner rush.

  I had been coming here for years but starting going to the Fiesta store when it re-opened. Came back for a quick visit and it is still a sad place to shop. Do everyone a favour and become a No Frills already!

  This Eastgate branch used to have good selections of meat and vegetables. Sad to say, I do not buy those anymore from them. The pork I bought had a nasty smell while cooking it and tasted nasty as well. It smelled like pee or rotten fish. I threw it away and never bought any meat there ever. The cashiers and cheese deli staff are terrible too except for one, Andora is her name I think. She's always pleasant and ready to help. The manager? I have nothing nice to say.

  Will never shop here again. Too many rude employees. Fish section always makes the entire produce section stink and it is not like that in any other store I have been too that has fresh fish. Self checkout often doesnt have people there to help when the machine messes up. Some cashiers are very friendly and helpful... but not enough to want to shop here.

  I very much like Eastgate Fortino's. I find it's clean, all of the staff are friendly, the butcher and the produce manager have been helpful when I needed them and this is my favorite Fortino's for baked goods (although I am divided whether I wish they had the yummy donuts like they do at the Fiesta location).
