  If your looking for ambiance in a beautiful setting this is the place to be.
  If your looking for amazing yummy food and the best steak for your hard earned dollar, go to the keg. Steak was bland and over cooked. We asked for medium and medium rare, both were well done. Soup was the best part of the meal. Staff were very nice, restaurant was very clean and had a great vibe but the food lacked taste and was pretty pricie as was the wine.
  I could see doing a summer wedding here though... Beautiful setting!

  We had always wondered why this restaurant which is so close to where we live is never recommended by other restaurant enthusiasts. The reviews online seem great so we decided to try it out on a special occasion for two. Unfortunately for us the room with the view was booked. We were shuffled off to a back room with view of the parking lot. The service was exceptional while the food was not. We both ordered the prime rib which came out quickly but flawed in all the ways that matter. We are notorious grissel eaters but we both agreed that our cuts had too much fat. Additionally we had ordered medium internal temperature and we're definitely both received medium rare to be generous. The side mashed potatoes were delightfully​ rich but the vegetable pairing was uninspired. For the price these details should be major considerations. Despite being so close to home we would not return if we were paying.

  At the wedding I was part of the wedding party. I had an amazing time overall only person that left a bitter taste in my mouth was Sebastian. As the "manager" he was rude, snappy, and not attentive to any of the few guests (only 30 total) lively, happy, and classy crowd. He refused to bring water for the 2 little kids during the reception. He called the crowd "cheap" and totally overcharged us. Only half the guests drank and had no more than 4 drinks and the newlyweds got charged 10 drinks per person.
  He also contributed to the Wish Jar for the newlyweds and recorded his name and literally wrote obscenities. That Wish Jar was not meant for the service staff to comment or have access to. It was only for the guests to record wishes for the newly wedded couple.
  Huge disappointment for a few of the guests and I have to comment about his unacceptable behavior...Sebastian is to be demanded off your service people for your special event!

  Beautiful location, view, and building. The dining room has tall ceilings and big windows – we had dinner as the sun set over Lake Ontario and it was gorgeous. We ordered the Escargot appetizer – great presentation and taste, and an ample portion! We also had the Prime Rib and the Striploin. We both ordered medium, and both received rare. We should have sent them back for more time on the grill – but we dug in anyway and I just ate the hot, least rare portion. My waiter forgot my second glass of wine which was disappointing as my rare steak was too cold to keep eating by the time we saw him again. That being said, I would book again here for a special occasion, but would speak up more about my requests (ie. medium steak, and the second glass of wine).

  The food was great if it was what I ordered. I got the surf and turf but I wanted my steak meadium rare and got a well done. I wanted to tell our waiter but he disappeared. I decided to eat it and after a very very long time the waiter appeared and finally asked about our food which by this time we ate and probably digested too for how long he took. We were a party of 4 which took 3 hours for dinner without appetizers. Also the place wasn't busy.
