  Love the patio, but too many flies. Lifting the glass tops from patio tables and a good cleaning under edge to remove crumb buildup would help as well as hosing down the patio. I'm adding to this post a year later that when on the patio a cute little mouse has found a home there and a cat that is a regular visitor. the staff seem to think its okay being aware that customers were raising their feet and not doing anything about it. time to start cleaning those tables and patio.

  'The Coach' is an above average pub with a great atmosphere, always bustling with cordial locals. The historic building (including an ivy plastered stone facade and warm gas fireplace) add to the quaint charm of this cozy pub. They have a weekly open mic night and live music regularly. The food is delicious pub fare, but isn't cheap. The patio is lovely in warmer weather.
  
  Downsides: It can get quite crowded at dinner and later in the night. They close earlier than most pubs

  This pub is good but very small. I ordered the large size fish and chips, which was very good. I was not impressed when I asked for extra tartar sauce and was charged for it. The drink of the day ended up costing $12 which is way overpriced.

  By chance my fiance and I were driving around Ancaster last night and this place caught my eye. We decided to give it a chance and were not disappointed by any means. The building itself looks & feels as if you are sitting in an 1800's English pub and all of the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly! The live entertainment was very interactive with the crowd and had a level of familiarity to them that was awesome!
  When it came to the food, we always order an assortment of appetizers and they knocked them out of the park! The Irish nachos were a little heavy but we got chili on top so that's our fault. If you like meaty, big wings check them out (they even customized them for us). The best part of the meal was the stuffed mushroom caps, absolutely delicious! Needless to say, it turned from a "hey, lets check them out..." to a date night staple for the two of us.
